Poker Razz. Unlike seven card stud the object in razz is to make the lowest possible five card poker hand out of the seven cards. It is one of the oldest forms of poker and has been played since the start of the 20th century.
Razz is a form of stud poker that is normally played for ace to five low. In razz straights and flushes do not count against the player for low and the ace always plays low. It emerged around the time people started using the 52 card deck instead of 20 for poker.
How to play a hand of razz poker.
Just as in stud players in razz are dealt up to 7 cards each. The object of the game is make the lowest possible hand using five out of the seven cards dealt in the hand.
